My Story

My real estate story began with a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing from Arizona State University, where I cultivated a passion for understanding market dynamics and helping people. This drive for helping others soon led me to the world of real estate, a field where I could combine my marketing expertise with my love for design and strategy.

At just 22 years old I purchased my first home, and it didn’t take me long to fall in love with the process of buying, selling, remodeling and investing in properties. As I bought distressed properties, remodeled, staged, and maximized the value of each home, I developed a keen eye for design and a deep understanding of what buyers and renters are truly seeking. These hands-on experiences have been invaluable, allowing me to provide my clients with insights that consistently help them achieve top dollar when selling their homes.

To further enhance my expertise, I obtained a real estate broker license in 2008 and went on to co-found a boutique real estate brokerage in 2009 with my sister and business partner, Lori. As the Designated Broker of Vantage Real Estate Group, I currently manage a talented team of five agents and associate brokers. I’m dedicated to staying at the forefront of the ever-evolving Phoenix real estate market. I attend monthly market update meetings led by statistician Tina Tamboer, read the weekly Phoenix Business Journals and educate myself on a continuous basis about the Phoenix market.

Over my 30-year real estate career, I’ve navigated market shifts with resilience and a deeper understanding of the industry. From the 2005 housing boom to the 2008-11 housing crisis, my ability to handle complex situations with empathy and strategic foresight has allowed me to help clients avoid foreclosure and secure the best possible outcomes during challenging times.

With over a decade of experience volunteering on three different homeowner association boards, including serving as president of two, I’ve gained invaluable insights into the intricacies of HOA communities. I’m passionate about sharing this knowledge with my buyers to help them make informed decisions when considering a new home in an HOA. 

I truly enjoy helping first-time homebuyers achieve their dream of homeownership and establishing their wealth-building journey as early as possible. Looking back, purchasing my first home in 1992 remains one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. 

In addition to my passion for house flipping, remodeling and real estate investments, I love spending time with my family and friends. When I'm not working, you can find me hiking, gardening, bargain shopping, trying new restaurants or working on my cars. I also enjoy taking walks and playing with my German Shepherd rescue lady, Gracie!
